HOTEL PRINCIPE, Venice – A Smart Stay in the City

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were very nice and comfortable, with a good size, but the tiny window facing an ugly wall was a downside. The service was diligent but lacked friendliness at times. The location was perfect, right on the grande canal, but the dining options were limited. Overall, it was worth paying extra for some aspects of the stay.

The hotel had a charming view of the river from the rooms, but the air conditioning was not very effective. The presence of squashed mosquitoes on the walls was a bit off-putting. The service was a mix of friendly and helpful staff with some instances of arrogance and rudeness. The location was excellent, close to the main train station and within walking distance to everything in Venice. The dining experience offered a good selection of breakfast items. The hotel facilities were satisfactory.

I had no choice but to stay in this room after a long day of traveling since 1 am. The hotel offers a few options in the city, and the room reminds me of old ballrooms from the 1800s with a big balcony, which was awesome.
